How about staying with us this summer?
We have some great events happening this summer and we’re offering ticket, accommodation and transport packages. So if you want to enjoy a day at the races, kick up your heels at The Wairarapa Country Music Festival or see one of NZ’s best and biggest air shows at Wings over Wairarapa, stay with us and let us do the rest.
Our new motorhome and caravan park, set in the picturesque grounds of Tauherenikau Racecourse is a quality option for your next Wairarapa adventure.

The maximum stay is 14 days.
All prices include full use of the facilities including Showers, Toilets, Kitchen and Dining, and the Laundry. There is potable water available from all taps.
You can book your stay online at the bottom of this page.
Motorhome hire options
Don’t have a motorhome or caravan of your own? No problem! We’ve partnered with Pacific Horizon Motorhomes (based in Wellington) to create some accommodation and vehicle rental packages that will work quite nicely.
For more information on these package options and to book please contact Matt on firstname.lastname@example.org.
As an added bonus, both the motorhomes available for hire and the Tauherenikau park site are dog-friendly, so your four-legged family member can come along too.
Staying with us is a perfect option for any of the region’s popular events – think Martinborough Fair, Wings over Wairarapa, Toast Martinborough or our very own Wairarapa Country Music Festival and Summer Racing Carnival. New on the scene and a hidden gem in the accommodation space, this is your chance to discover the raw beauty of the Wairarapa area.
If you haven’t been to Wairarapa you should know it’s one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets. Rugged coastlines, award-winning wines, exceptional shopping all set against a magnificent rural backdrop… this is a spectacular experience. For more information on the region and everything there is to see and do here visit www.wairarapanz.com.
For those heading to Wellington and needing to get over the Rimutakas but are feeling a little tired, then stop off at Tauherenikau on State Highway 2 to get refreshed and tackle the journey tomorrow. To see where we are, and to plan your journey, check out the map on our contact page.
