Rowdy’s Rose

Rowdy’s Rose is a husband-and-wife, international award-winning modern country duo from Waikato, New Zealand. Independent singer-songwriters and international recording artists, they are quickly making their mark on the global stage.

In 2024, Rowdy’s Rose were crowned Best New Artist by HUGS Radio (Pennsylvania, USA) and International Songwriter of the Year at the Who’s Hoo Country Music Awards (Indiana, USA). They also performed five shows across their 2024 USA tour, including stops in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and three showcases in Nashville.

Their success continued with six nominations at the 2024 Who’s Hoo Country Music Awards in Columbus, Indiana, including:

  • Songwriter of the Year

  • Band of the Year

  • Country Rising Star

  • Male Vocalist of the Year

  • Female Vocalist of the Year

  • Song of the Year

Rowdy’s Rose were honoured as featured international artists at both the HUGS Radio and Who’s Hoo awards ceremonies.

Back home, the duo were named Top 10 Finalists for the MLT Songwriting Award (NZ) and selected as NZ On Air NewTracks artists for both June and December 2024. Their music continues to receive radio play both in New Zealand and internationally, reaching audiences in over 181 countries via streaming platforms.

Their single “Shooting Star” made a splash on multiple charts, reaching:

  • #3 on the Top 100 Kiwi Music Chart (CFM)

  • #8 on the HUGS Radio Top 200 (Pennsylvania, USA)

  • #11 on the Who’s Hoo Country Countdown (Indiana, USA)

2025 is already shaping up to be another standout year. They’ve received a Songwriter of the Year nomination from the Elite Music Awards (New York) and four nominations from the Red Carpet Awards (Europe):

They’re also two-time nominees at the prestigious Josie Music Awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville—widely regarded as the top international awards for independent singer-songwriters.

Their music video for “Shooting Star” is currently airing on international music television, while their latest video “No Greater Love” has been featured on JuiceTV (NZ) and Australia Country Television.

In 2025, the duo launched their first nationwide “Burning Brighter” Tour, performing across five locations from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island, including appearances at two major country music festivals.
