Accommodation at the ranch house

The Race Track Ranch has had a major renovation and now sleeps 42 people in the form of 9 twin share, 3 singles, 8 doubles and a family room for 4. Just four kilometres from Featherston, and in close proximity to Martinborough and Greytown, the Ranch House is a brilliant location to hire for your weekend away. Set in beautiful native bush, dwarfed by ancient Kahikateas and right next to a secluded swimming hole – the Ranch House is a brilliantly simple accommodation choice at just $45 a night per person. Please note, the Ranch House is only available for groups of 20 or more.

There are excellent facilities that include disabled bathroom facilities, showers and a shared kitchen that is fully stocked with fridges, freezers, ovens and microwaves. Your linen and towels are also provided.

Pony clubs, team building groups, scouts, walking clubs, choir groups, cake decorators and family reunions have all enjoyed this great facility. What’s more, they keep coming back! Come and see why the Ranch House remains such a firm favourite.

“We had a birthday party in Greytown and our out-of-towners stayed out at Tauherenikau, including myself. The beauty of this accommodation is in its simplicity. The rooms were warm and comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of paradise ducks and plovers. A true country experience with lots of history.
